Welcome to the homepage of the Yapton Cottage Gardeners Society website.  We are a very active Society - each year we hold four shows, where members and guests have the opportunity to show their flowers, fruit and vegetables, floral art, cookery and photos.  We also always have a large number of competition classes for children.  As well as our shows, we hold members' meetings when speakers entertain us with talks and slide shows on a variety of topics, some horticultural and some of general local or topical interest.  We also hold two plant sales a year. Always a delight of Spring colour to warm the soul, our first show of the year will be open for viewing, tea drinking, cake eating and bargain purchasing between 2.00 and 4.00 pm.   Exhibitors – staging is from 8.15 to 10.15. Entries need to be with Anne or David by Wednesday 3^rd April at the latest.

Our ever popular plant sale is not to be missed and coming early is recommended as we can sell out. There will be a combination of great value, top quality nursery grown bedding and perennials, thanks to Ferring Nurseries who offer us very favourable terms, together with a members’ bring and buy table where random delightful bargains can be found. Doors open at 10.00 and close at 11.45. Free entry.
